Sounds – SOUNDS FOR MENTAL WELLBEING

Curated by: Sammy James

Listen here

Inhale, exhale. Your newest soundscape to support your mental wellbeing is here. Curated by Sammy James - one of our absolute favourite Naarm-based yoga and meditation teachers.

Beginning with big yin energy and evolving into soothing, dreamy sounds, welcome to your new favourite playlist for mental wellbeing. Listen ~ in order ~ to this beautiful curation, and observe as it entrances, enhances, and supports even the most active of minds.

The Playlist, as described by Sammy

'Here are some sounds I’ve had on pretty consistent rotation for my own wellbeing listening recently. Strong yin energy most of the way through but it collects some momentum towards the end and finds a well earned dance in LT’s ‘Darien Gap’. A few of these songs have made their way into yoga playlists across the year but some are still waiting patiently for their time to shine.

Special mentions to local delight B.C Slumber, ‘Heliconia Patch’ - it's like a morning peruse through an ethereal vegetable garden; Nala Sinephro’s Space 8 is an irresistible 17-minute free jazz meditation which I’ve loved playing in class recently and just drops people right into their bodies. Take it slow, have a listen and see you in class soon :))'
